Overall 2017 will be remembered as another significant year for Hoang Lam as we implemented a great number of changes and improvements. To welcome 2018 and close out 2017, the yearend party was held at Claris Palace with the full participation of Hoang Lam’s direct and indirect members. This is an important annual event for Hoang Lam to recognize excellent achievements, both individual and teams who helped us to excellent performance in 2017.
Then to review, reflect, and share its achievements during the past year as well as launch our message for 2018: “SPEED UP �?LIVE THE CORE VALUES�?

In late 2017, Hoang Lam continued its improvement plans and invested in the relaxation area with music, comfy seating, games, and kitchen. As a result of this and other improvements, we saw a difference in our employees’ productivity and satisfaction almost immediately. This ultimately helped all stakeholders in both the production and administration of our works, which is paramount for happy customers.

HOANG LAM is proud to announce that effective from 2017 we were awarded the
new certificate for Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. Issued by BSI for design, fabrication, and installation of stainless steel tanks, vessels, equipment and industrial processing systems for food, beverage, chemical, & pharmaceutical
industries.
The updated standard will ensure that quality management is now completely integrated and aligned with the business strategies of Hoang Lam’s organization, and ensure all our customers continue to receive the highest quality products and services.

At the beginning of the New Year we began planning for the Sales Office expansion in Ho Chi Minh City. A few short months later and we are now putting the finishing touches or our newly expanded space. Residing in the same location we have now more than doubled our space making way for an expanding sales and management team to operate.

As part of the renovation we added a new and bigger meeting room, central sales and marketing center work area, and additional offices for management. We look forward to welcoming you to our new office on your next visit in 2017.

Hoang Lam is focused on building a strong team for the future. So from now through 2017 we are investing in both our current staff and looking to bring in more talent. Enabling us to further build our capabilities, and matching with HL’s mission, vision, & core values to serve you better than ever.

As part of this, we will be developing key employees and rearranging our workflow in some areas to better serve our customers, and improve our systems to further maintain our competitive advantage for years to come.

The Mid-Autumn Moon is a historic Asian holiday that marks the end of the summer harvest. Annually, this festival incorporates a wide range of entertainment and cultural events that include storytelling, dragon dancing, children’s activities, musical performances, lantern parades, and of course moon cakes!

This year, on behalf of the BOD, Human Resources, and the Labor Union, we embraced the festival by giving moon cakes to our entire team. Giving them a chance to celebrating with family, and bringing everyone closer together.

In order to encourage the company to get the most from employees, Hoang Lam held a team building trip on 15-16 July. Both days, held at Phan Thiet beach, was planned by the Directors and HR department, and focused on developing the cooperation between people and departments.

Hoang Lam aims to help all its people to improve teamwork and communication, whilst targeting personal development. The activities strike a balance between having fun together, building on strong decision making skills, and leadership development.

Hoang Lam participated in this year’s Propak Asia trade show held at the BITEC exhibition center June 15-18. With more than 40.000 attendees Hoang Lam met and talked with a wide ranging assortment of potential and existing customers and suppliers alike. Both Nguyen Hoang Lam and Justin Colebrissi attanded the show and were able to secure new oppotunities in multiple sectors for 2016 & 2017. The show and other future events are a part of Hoang Lam’s continued and growing industry involvement and marketing initiative.

The goal of the program is to identify both bright & aspiring students who have a parent working in Hoang Lam, but are not able to afford increasing tuition costs for advanced studies.

The program has since chosen its first two students for 2016, providing them with scholarships, books, uniforms, and other support to continue to help them develop.
